Marie Buckholtz Emmendorfer A funeral will be held Saturday, November 10th, 2007 for 88-year-old Marie Buckholtz Emmendorfer of Ste. Genevieve, who died Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Des Peres. She was born February 14th, 1919 in Richwoods, the daughter of William and Hattie (Wideman) Murdick. They preceded her in death. She married Edgar Buckholtz, then Franklin Emmendorfer. Both preceded her in death. Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Gary and Carol Buckholtz of Prarie Du Rocher, IL; two daughters and sons in law, Janet and Kenneth Yarbrough of St. Louis, Kay and Kenneth Basler of Ste. Genevieve; three stepsons and daughters in law, Linus and Wanda Emmendorfer, Robert and Edna Emmendorfer, William and Terri Emmendorfer, all of Perryville; a sister, Maggie Pinnell of Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Kurt Basler, Kim Lalumandier, Todd and Chad Yarbrough, Kyle Basler and Gary Buckholtz, Jr.; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lon, Emmett, Rosco and Cecil Murdick. She was a member of the Ste. Genevieve Womans Club and a Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 9th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 88-year-old Marie Buckholtz Emmendorfer of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10th, 2007 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Rev. Junie Ewing will officiate. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
