Norman L. Fallert

A funeral will be held Thursday, May 17th, 2007 for 73-year-old Norman L. Fallert of Ste. Genevieve, who died Monday, May 14th at his residence.

He was born January 15th, 1934 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Henry Fallert and Rose (Naeger) Fallert, who both preceded him in death.

He married Shirley Ann Applegate on August 5th, 1959. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Alan and Mary Jane Fallert and Darren and Lora Fallert of Ste. Genevieve; two daughters and sons in law, Karen and Scott Stuppy of Ste. Genevieve and Patty and Scott Mueller of Somis, California; two sisters, Bernadine Kertz of Bloomsdale and Irma Kettinger of Ste. Genevieve; and seven grandchildren, Jessica, Derek, Tyler, Samatha, Lee, Caitlyn and Lindsey.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Merita Grither.

He was a member of American Legion Post No. 150, Knights of Columbus Council No. 1037 and Ste. Genevieve Elks Lodge No. 2674.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16th at the Basler Funeral Home. The Knights of Columbus service will be at 6:30 p.m. and the American Legion service will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 73-year-old Norman L. Fallert of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
