A funeral will be held Friday, May 18th, 2007 for 79-year-old Bertha L. Bonney of Farmington, who died Monday, May 14th at the Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington.

She was born June 3rd, 1927 in St. Louis, the daughter of James Albert Howard and Anna (Conklin) Howard, who both preceded her in death.

She married Joseph E. Bonney on January 27th, 1945. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Bonney) Preston of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; three bothers and two sisters in law, Harry Howard of Tupman, Louisiana, Gerald and Sue Howard of Bakersfield, California and Tommy and Wanda Howard of Ste. Genevieve; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sanda L. Bohnert; five brothers, James, Billy, Earl Stidman and Orville Howard; and a sister, Lorraine Howard.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 17th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 79-year-old Bertha L. Bonney of Farmington will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 18th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Clark Maes will officiate.

Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery, Bloomsdale.
