William L. Bonnell Jr.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 13th, 2007 for 75-year-old William L. Bonnell Jr. of Ste. Genevieve, who died Friday, March 9th at his residence.

He was born December 27th, 1931 in St. Louis, the son of William L. Bonnell Sr. and Mary Ellen (Westhoff) Bonnell, who both preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter in law: Michael Bonnell of Houston, Texas and Stephen and Tracy Bonnell of St. Charles; two daughters and a son in law, Pamela and Thomas Hickey of Houston, Texas and Michele Bonnell of Houston, Texas; a brother and sister in law, James and Ginny Bonnell of St. Louis; a sister, Maxine McCarty of Arnold; and three grandchildren, Sean, Ryan and Jackson.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 150, VFW Post No. 2210 and the Elks Lodge No. 2674 all in Ste. Genevieve.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. at the new Basler Funeral Home, 685 Center Drive, Ste. Genevieve.

The Elks service will be held at 6:30 p.m. and the VFW and American Legion service will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 75-year-old William L. Bonnell of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 13 at the Church of St. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks at 11 a.m. Friday, March 16th.

Full military honors will be provided by VFW Post No. 2210.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
