A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 21st, 2007 for 73-year-old Marian E. Johnston of Bloomsdale, who died Saturday, March 17th at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

She was born May 31st, 1933 in Danby, the daughter of Paul Pillard and Edna G. (Davis) Pilliard, who both preceded her in death.

She married Morton L. Johnston on February 19th, 1949. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Johnston of Ste. Genevieve, Michael Johnston of De Soto and Paul Johnston of Bloomsdale; four daughters and three sons in law, Cathy and Carl Stowers of Flint, Texas, Edna Johnston of St. Louis, Anita and Robert Fisher of Clarksville, Tennessee and Lois and Jimmy Hayden of Drummonds, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Anita Roth.

A memorial service for 73-year-old Marian E. Johnston of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21st at the new Basler Funeral Home, 685 Center Drive, Ste. Genevieve.
