A funeral will be held Friday, June 8th, 2007 for 65-year-old Kenneth P. Christisen of Perryville, who died today (Wednesday, June 6th, 2007) at his home.

He was born December 17th, 1941 in Perry County, the son of Ludwig and Evelyn (Schremp) Christisen. Ludwig preceded him in death. Evelyn (Schubert) survives in Perryville.

He married Pat Dillon December 17th, 1988. She survives in Perryville.

He is survived by two daughters, Ashley Christisen of Perryville and Theresa Neudecker of the state of Missouri; two sons, Kevin Christisen of of Ste. Genevieve, Randy Christisen of DeSoto; seven brothers, Merlin, Ted, Larry, Allen and Ron Christisen, all of Perryville, Roy Christisen of St. Mary and David Christisen of Bluegrass, IA; six sisters, Loretta Wood of St. Louis, Judy Fry of Fenton, Norma Schumer, Patricia Torbert, Terrie Emmendorfer and Donna Mahnken, all of Perryville; five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, and a sister, Carolyn Grindstaff.

He was retired from General Motors and active in the Democratic Party. He was of the Catholic faith.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, June 7th, and from 6:30-10 a.m. Friday, June 8th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 65-year-old Kenneth P. Christisen of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8th at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Schafer will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
