Joseph E. Bonney A funeral will be held Monday, January 8th, 2007 for 81-year-old Joseph E. Bonney of Bloomsdale, who died Sunday, December 31st at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City. He was born January 29th, 1925 in St. Louis, the son of George and Fay (Politte) Bonney, who both preceded him in death. He married Bertha L. Howard on January 27th, 1945. He is survived by a daughter and son in law: Linda and Wayne Preston of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; a brother and sister in law: Charlie and Margie Bonnie of Mehlville; four sisters and two brothers in law: Juanita Miller of St. Louis, Loretta "Geri" and Glennon Carron of Bloomsdale, Linda and Danny Keitch of Arnold and Margie Haukaup of Festus; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra L. Bohnert and three sisters: Virginia Pagel, Norma Seawald and Dorothy Bochac. He was Past Governor of the Royal Order of Moose and also a Sentinel Guard, Santa Claus for Toys for Tots, licensed insurance agent in California and secretary for the Teamsters Union. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 81-year-old Joseph E. Bonney of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 8th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Clark Maes will officiate. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
