A funeral will be held Thursday, January 25th, 2007 for 90-year-old Irey J. Boyer of Ste. Genevieve, who died Monday, January 22nd at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 30th, 1916 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of William Paul and Lovenie (Donovan) Boyer, who both preceded him in death.

He married Gertrude Dorlac on November 24th, 1940. She survives.

He is also survived by a son, Richard Alan Boyer of Nashville, Tennessee; a daughter and son in law, Betty Ann and Paul Ritter of Festus; a special nephew, Steven Tatham; several other nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Jim Boyer; and two sisters, Helen McKelvey and Edith Tatham.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 24th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 90-year-old Irey J. Boyer of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 25th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
