A funeral will be held Saturday, January 13^th, 2007 for 98-year-old Edna M. (Paluskas) Bender of Festus, who died today (Thursday, January 11^th, 2007) at Festus Manor.

She was born June 28^th, 1908 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Anthony and Ursala (Roziute) Paluskas. They preceded her in death.

She married Sylvester Bender. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Sylvester "Bob" and Jeanie Bender of Farmington; two daughters and sons in law, Teresa and Bob DeCou of Festus, Sylvia and Ray Lynn of Colorado Springs, CO; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Paluskas.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 12^th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 98-year-old Edna M. (Paluskas) Bender of Festus will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13^th, 2007 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
