A funeral was held Friday, February 23^rd, 2007 for 104-year-old Mary C. Estes of St. Peters, who died Tuesday, February 20th at St. Peters Manor Care Center in St. Peters.

She was born March 8, 1902, in Mayfield, the daughter of William and Ida Johnson Limbaugh.

She married James Estes November 5, 1927. He preceded her in death on April 26th, 1974.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters in law, Jerry and Sharon Estes of Bloomsdale, Ivan Estes of St. Peters and Helen Estes of St. Charles; two daughters and a son in law, Hester and Don Seabaugh of St. Peters; and Winnis Klippel of St. Charles; seven grandchildren: Cindy Hulett and her husband Estes of Plymouth, Minnesota; Connie Arnold and her husband Terry of Ste. Genevieve; Karen (Seabaugh) Schroeder of St. Charles, MO; Cathy (Seabaugh) Thomas of St. Charles, Tim Estes of O’Fallon, Brian Estes of St. Charles; and Ronnie Estes of Bloomsdale; and 12 great grandchildren: Brian Hulett, Courtney Hulett, Scott Arnold, Travis Arnold, Victor Schroeder, Jeremy Schroeder, Carley Thomas, Morgan Thomas, Andy Estes, Rachel Estes, Tiffany Estes, and Britney Estes.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Justin Estes, a daughter and son-in-law, Vesta and Bob Terry, and two grandsons Steve and Kenny Estes.

Mary and James moved from Millersville to St. Peters in 1966. Mary was a homemaker, a loving mother and devoted wife.

Funeral service was at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson on Friday, February 23rd. Interment followed in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
