A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 22nd, 2007 for 84-year-old Alexis J. Carron of Bloomsdale, who died Monday, February 19th, 2007 in Bloomsdale.

He was born August 31st, 1922 in Bloomsdale, the son of Joseph and Katherine (Bauman) Carron. They preceded him in death.

He married Alma Pagano Gerard April 25th, 1964. She survives in Bloomsdale.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Nick Carron of St. Charles, Chris and Lynette Carron of Bloomsdale; two daughters and sons in law, Theresa and Jeffrey Nanney of St. Louis, Jo Ann and Robert Heath of Springfield; a sister, Bernetta Naeger of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Ben, Hilary, John, Francis, Bernard and Milferd Carron; four sisters, Ada Carron, Eleanor Curley, Isabelle Patterson and Josephine Carron.

He was a member of American Legion Post 554, Knights Of Columbus Council 1848 and the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Bloomsdale.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 21st at the Basler Funeral Home.

A funeral service for 84-year-old Alexis J. Carron of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 22nd, 2007 at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Raymond Oge, Rev. Clark Maes, and Deacon Jim Basler will officiate.

Burial will follow in the St. Agnes Cemetery.
