Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Hoog) Basler A funeral will be held Thursday, April 19th, 2007 for 64-year-old Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Hoog) Basler of Ste. Genevieve, who died Sunday, April 15th, 2007 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. She was born April 4th, 1943 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Emil and Hilda (Meyer) Hoog. They survive in Ste. Genevieve. She married Wayne Basler June 20th, 1964. He survives. She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Adam Basler of Festus, Todd and Tricia Basler of Chesterfield; three daughters and sons in law, Sheila and Derrick Spalt of Wildwood, Trisha and Mike Roth of Ballwin, Michelle and Patrick Meyer of Fenton; three brothers and sisters in law, Wayne and Cheryl Hoog, Ken and Mary Jean Hoog, Royce and Michelle Hoog, all of Ste. Genevieve; a sister and brother in law, Suzy and Ken Wolk of Weingarten; 12 grandchildren, Chelsea, Hannah, Mackenzie, Holly, Allison, Abigail, Ashley, Cassidy, Alexis, Madison, Haley and Blake. She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Hoog. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. A funeral for 64-year-old Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Hoog) Basler of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19th, 2007 at the St. Agnes Church. The Rev. Raymond Oge, Rev. Clark Maes, and Deacon Jim Basler will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Agnes Cemetery. You may make memorials to the Friends of St. Agnes Foundation, St. Agnes Parish, or the American Cancer Society. The Basler Funeral Home handled all arrangements. |
