Albert Basden

A funeral will be held Friday, April 20th, 2007 for 84-year-old Albert Basden of Ste. Genevieve who died Wednesday, April 18th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 6th, 1922 in Ironton, the son of Joseph and Mary (Celesile) Basden, who preceded him in death.

He married Harley Wells on August 6th, 1940.

He is survived by two sons and daughters in law: Lanny and Ann Basden of Piedmont and Albert and Bonnie Basden Jr. of Arnold; two daughters and sons in law, Lana and Ross Cowin of Bonne Terre and Debra and Gerald Morton of Dyersburg, Tennessee; a sister and brother in law, Margaret and Sid Sinclair of the state of Arizona; three step sisters, Alta Lollar of Armada, Michigan, Cleo Ruple of Bonne Terre and Violet Tewkbury of Genoa, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Joe and Frank Basden and one grandchild.

He was a member of the Ste. Genevieve Elks Lodge No. 2674.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. this (Thursday, April 19th) afternoon and evening at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 84-year-old Albert Basden of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will be at the Arcadia Memorial Park in Arcadia.
