A funeral will be held Saturday, October 28th, 2006 for 43-year-old Gary L. Downing of Bloomsdale, who died Wednesday, October 25th at his residence.

He was born April 6, 1961 in Sullivan, the son of the late Robert E. Downing and Helen E. (Farrar) McBinge of North Dakota.

He married Joyce A. Davis. She survives in Bloomsdale.

He is also survived by his sons: Gary Lee Davis and his fiancée, Dawn Davis, of Ste. Genevieve and Justin Downing of Bloomsdale; two daughters: TeeJay Downing, and her fiancée Joe James, of Bloomsdale and Sarah Downing of Bloomsdale; a brother: Robert J. Downing of Goulet, Texas; and five grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a twin brother, Jerry Downing.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, October 28th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 43-year-old Gary L. Downing of Bloomsdale will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 28th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. Terry Starkey will officiate.

Burial will be at the Earnery Cemetery in Cherryville.

Memorials may be made to family use.
