Arline L. (Basler) Hoog A funeral will be held Saturday, November 11th, 2006 for 86-year-old Arline L. Hoog of Zell, who died Thursday, November 9th, 2006 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was born October 30th, 1920 in River Aux vases, the daughter of Philip and Rose (Rottler) Basler. They preceded her in death. She married Henry Hoog September 18th, 1946. He survives in Zell. She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Jerry Hoog of St. Louis, Carl and Brenda Hoog of Manchester; a daughter, Carol Roth of Ste. Genevieve; three grandchildren, Randy Roth, Wendy Roth and Jacob Hoog. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Basler. She was a member of the St. Joseph Parish Ladies’ Sodality and the VFW Auxiliary. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 10th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. The VFW Auxiliary will gather at 6 p.m. A funeral for 86-year-old Arline L. Hoog of Zell will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 11th, 2006 at the Sts. Philip and James Church in River Aux Vases. Monsignor James Hanson will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Zell. You may make memorials to the American Diabetes Association or to Masses. |
