A funeral will be held Monday, May 1^st, 2006 for 81-year-old Thomas J. Griffard of Minnith, who died today (Friday, April 28^th, 2006) in Minnith.

He was born June 17^th, 1924 in Minnith, the son of James and Anna (Duvall) Griffard. They preceded him in death.

He married Lillian Hoffman September 10^th, 1955. She survives.

He is survived by a daughter, Terry Schrumpf of Perryville; a brother, Glennon Griffard of Minnith; a sister and brother in law, Dorothy and Melvin Pfeifer of Minnith; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Griffard.

He was a member of United Steel Workers Local #169, and of V. F. W. Post 2210.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, April 30^th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A V. F. W. service will be held at 7 p.m.

A funeral for 81-year-old Thomas J. Griffard of Minnith will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 1^st, 2006 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Lincoln will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Minnith Cemetery. V. F. W. Post 2210 will provide military graveside honors.
