James Walter Bird A funeral will be held Sunday, May 7th, 2006 for 58-year-old James Walter Bird who died Wednesday, May 3rd at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was born August 15th, 1947 in St. Louis, the son of James and Myrtle (Cochran) Bird, who both preceded him in death. He married Loretta Bird on August 26th, 1972. He preceded him in death. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Johnston of St. Louis and Linda Worsham of Ste. Genevieve; two sons and daughters in law, Tim and Laurie Johnston of St. Louis and William and Sandra Johnston of House Springs, five grandchildren; Kristi Cleghorn, Steven Mauk, Deanna Mauk, Heather Johnston and Sara Johnston; one great grandchild; a sister and brother in law, Patricia and Kyle Williams; four brothers and three sisters in law, Greg and Elizabeth Bird of Lemay, Jeff and Debbie Bird of Fenton, Kenneth and Linda Bird of Lonedell and Lawrence Bird of St. Louis; nieces; nephews; cousins and many dear friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Worsham. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 58-year-old James Walter Bird of Bloomsdale will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Joe Mancuso will officiate. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hope Church Building Fund or to the National Kidney Foundation. |
