Adrian L. Bauman

A funeral will be held Saturday, May 6th, 2006 for 68-year-old Adrian L. Bauman of Zell, who died Wednesday, May 3rd at St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis.

He was born May 6th, 1937 in Zell, the son of Meinrad and Theresa (Eckenfels) Bauman, who both preceded him in death.

He married Doris R. Baechle on April 8th, 1961.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald Bauman and his special friend Karen Herzog and Jason Bauman and his wife Lacey Wisdom, all of Ste. Genevieve; two daughters and sons in law, Mary and Mark Ringwald of Zell and Sue and Bryan Wolk of Ste. Genevieve; a brother and sister in law, Arthur and Pat Bauman of Zell and a sister and brother in law, Mary Lou and Jerry Kettinger of Arnold; and seven grandchildren, Katie, Brandon, Scott, Hannah, Dylan, Nicole and Riley.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Bauman.

He was a lifelong farmer and a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a member of American Legion Post No. 150, St. Joseph Alumni Association, Zell Jaycees and Holy Name Society.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 5th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. An American Legion service will be held at 7 p.m.

A funeral for 68-year-old Adrian L. Bauman of Zell will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6th at the St. Joseph Church in Zell. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. James Hanson will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph School or church or to the Leukemia Lymphona Society or to the Valle Schools Foundation.
