A memorial mass will be held Monday, June 26^th, 2006 for 93-year-old Urban A. Hoog who died Saturday, June 10 after a brief illness.

He was born August 5, 1912 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of John and Emma Hoog, who both preceded him in death.

He married Martha Krone of Chanute, Kansas, on March 8, 1945. She survives.

He is also survived by five children: John of Seoul, South Korea; Jane (Jim) Herz of Webster Groves; Marilyn (Ed) Tenholder of St. Louis; Jerry (Diana) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; Steve (fiancée Leslie Pratt) of Kansas City; eight grandchildren: Genevieve (Timothy) Ellerbee, Rebecca Hoog, Pete Wibbenmeyer, Rob Herz, Anne Marie Tenholder, David (Paula Orejudo Prieto de los Mozos) Tenholder, Christina (fiancé Chris) Davis, and Alyssa Hoog; and two great-grandchildren: Kenneth and Kayla Davis.

He was a graduate of Valle High School, class of 1931.

A memorial Mass for 93-year-old Urban A. Hoog will be held Monday, June 26th, at 10:30 am at the Church of Ste. Genevieve in Ste. Genevieve.
