A funeral will be held Thursday, June 29^th, 2006 for 71-year-old Cletus B. Gegg of River Aux Vases, who died today (Tuesday, June 27^th, 2006) at Riverview At The Park.

He was born April 21^st, 1935 in River Aux Vases, the son of Felix and Regina (Naeger) Gegg. They preceded him in death.

He married Betty (Valle) Gegg October 11^th, 1958. She survives in River Aux Vases.

He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Steven and Rachelle Gegg of Mooresville, IN; two daughters and sons in law, Geri and Scott Shelburg of St. Charles, Kathy and Doug Schweiss of Festus; a sister, Clara Roth of Ste. Genevieve; nine grandchildren.

He was a member of American Legion Post 150.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28^th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 71-year-old Cletus B. Gegg of River Aux Vases will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 29^th, 2006 at the Sts. Phillip and James Church. The Rev. Joseph Reilly will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sts. Phillip and James Cemetery.
