Word has been received of the death of Charles W. Armbruster Sr., who died today, Wednesday, July 5th.

He was the son of Wilburn and Beulah (LeClere) Armbruster, who both preceded him in death.

He married Janet H. Ortmann. She survives in Bloomsdale.

He is also survived by his children: Glenn (Mary), Charles Jr., Michael, Dana, Debbie (David) Wittu, Lori (Mark) Lorance and Julie Armbruster; three sisters and two brothers in law, Ruth Bennett, Shirley and Wayne Operle, Betty and Jim Thacker.

He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Randy Faulkner.

His body was donated to the St. Louis University School of Medicine.

The Ziegenhein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
