A funeral will be held Wednesday, December 6th, 2006 for 63-year-old Sandra A. "Sandy" Burr of Ste. Genevieve, who died today (Monday, December 4th, 2006) at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 19th, 1943 in Elvins, the daughter of Samuel and Oldean (Moyer) Black. They preceded her in death.

She married Robert J. Burr February 8th, 1964. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.

She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Michael and Jean Burr, Kevin and Lisa Burr, all of Ste. Genevieve; a daughter, Tammy Miller of Farmington; mother in law Regina Burr of Ste. Genevieve; three brothers in law, Ed Cole of Arnold, Jerry Burr of Festus, Cark Burr of Patton; sister in law, Carol Pruneau; eight grandchildren, Ryan and Kelly Miller, Justin, Candace, Whitney, Dylan, Zachary and Carter Burr.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Cole, and a brother, Stephen Black.

She was employed at the Ste. Genevieve Herald until 1993.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 8th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 63-year-old Sandra A. "Sandy" Burr of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 6th, 2006 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley and Monsignor James Hanson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
