A funeral will be held Monday, December 4th, 2006 for 88-year-old Edna A. Bahr of Ste. Genevieve, who died Thursday, November 30th at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born April 5th, 1918 in Zell, the daughter of Lawrence S. and Sophia (Schmelzle) Huck who both preceded her in death.

She married Henry J. Bahr on October 10th, 1939. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law: Larry and Mary Jane Bahr of Ballwin and Robert J. Bahr of Ste. Genevieve; three daughters and sons in law: Norma and Jim Klein of Ste. Genevieve, Henrietta and Ron Basler of Bloomsdale and Geraldine and Earl Klein of River aux Vases; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter in law: Linda Bahr, six brothers: Oscar, Oliver, Gilbert, Valentine "Fish", Ralph and Glennon Huck; two sisters: Olga Weiler and Coletta Basler; one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. and the VFW Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday, December 3rd at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 88-year-old Edna A. Bahr of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 4th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Zell.

Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph School or Church.
