A funeral will be held Thursday, August 31st, 2006 for 64-year-old Linda S. Colburn of Festus who died Monday, August 28th at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born July 27th, 1942 in St. Francois County, the daughter of Lawrence and Gertrude (Jones) Sprinkle, who both preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law: Mark and Mary Welsh Colburn of Ste. Genevieve; three daughters and sons in law: Jerri and Terry Bequette of Ste. Genevieve, Missie and Tom Gray of Bloomsdale and Vickie and Paul Buescher of Bloomsdale; five brothers and four sisters in law: Ed and Nancy Sprinkle of Garfield, Arkansas, Darrell and Dorothy Sprinkle of Lake St. Louis, Rob and Vicki Sprinkle of Bloomsdale, Steve Sprinkle of St. Louis and Larry and Karen Sprinkle of Dittmer; two sisters: Pat Buxton of Bonne Terre and Sharon Hays of Park Hills; 10 grandchildren: Markie, Breanna, Lindsey, Brittany, Abbey, Nicholas, Hunter, Bethany, Hannal and Raechel.

She was an assistant manager at Wal Mart for 15 years and a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Festus.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 30th at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.

A funeral for 64-year-old Linda S. Colburn of Festus will be held Thursday, August 31st at the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. The Rev. Dewayne Patty will officiate.

Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Children's Miracle Network at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
