A funeral was held today, Monday, April 3rd, 2006 for 80-year-old Mary Louise Gegg of Ste. Genevieve, who died Friday, March 31st at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born March 7th, 1926 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Albert Klein and Olive M. (Thuillier) Klein who both preceded her in death.

She married Francis J. Gegg on June 1st, 1950. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: a son and daughter in law, James and Pam Gegg of Lindenhurst, Florida; two daughters and a son in law, Carole and Roger Hale of Springfield and Kathleen Sims of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; a brother, Robert Klein of Ste. Genevieve; a sister, Rose Smith of Farmington; and seven grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Albert, William and Eugene Klein.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for Mary Louise Gegg of Ste. Genevieve was held today, Monday, April 3rd at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley officiated.

Burial was in the Valle Spring Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ste. Genevieve.

The Basler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
