A funeral will be held Thursday, April 13^th, 2006 for 62-year-old Loretta V. Bird of Bloomsdale, who died Monday, April 10^th, 2006 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 7^th, 1943 in St. Louis, the daughter of Harry and Loretta (Trachte) Byrne. They preceded her in death.

She married James Bird August 26^th, 1972. He survives.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Johnston of St. Louis and Linda Worsham of Ste. Genevieve; two sons and daughters in law, Tim and Laurie Johnston of St. Louis, William and Sandra Johnston of House Springs; a sister in law, aunt, great aunt, great great aunt; five grandchildren, Kristi Cleghorn, Steven and Deanna Mauk, Heather and Sara Johnston; a great grandchild, Austin Witte; cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Stephanie Worsham.

A funeral for 62-year-old Loretta V. Bird of Bloomsdale will be held Thursday, April 13^th, 2006 at the Hope Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Joe Mancuso will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Arrangements were handled by the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
