Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1^st, 2005 for 67-year-old Eugene J. Basler of Ste. Genevieve, who died Wednesday, September 28^th, 2005 at his home.

He was born September 30^th, 1937 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Thomas and Christine (Klein) Basler. They preceded him in death.

He married Brenda L. Basler October 1^st, 1960.

Survivors include: three sons and daughters in law, Gene and Nancy Basler, Todd and Carol Basler, David and Autumn Basler, all of St. Louis; three brothers and sisters in law, Clarence and Yvonne Basler, Eddie and Lenora Basler, all of Ste. Genevieve, Clete and Willa Basler of Festus; six grandchildren, Joseph, Christine, Breland, Dane, Shelbi, Mason.

Three brothers, Archie, Thomas and Alois Basler, and a sister, Bertha Giesler, also preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 7:30-9 p.m. Friday, September 30^th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve.

Funeral services for 67-year-old Eugene J. Basler of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1^st, 2005 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Valle Spring Cemetery.
