A funeral was held today, October 31st, 2005 for 88-year-old Freda H. (Werner) Carron of Crystal City, formerly of Bloomsdale who died Friday, October 28th at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

She was born August 22nd, 1917 in Bloomsdale, daughter of Charles and Philomena (Roth) Werner, who both preceded her in death.

She married Charles Carron. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children and sons and daughters in law, Rosemarie and Darrell Plummer of Farmington, Clyde and Dona Carron of Hazelwood, Betty and Robert Basler of Cape Girardeau, Ralph and Dolores Carron of Bloomsdale, LeRoy Carron of Biloxi, Mississippi, Larry and Jeanette Carron of Hazelwood and Donald and Kathy Carron of Bloomsdale; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister, Lorene Kirchner of Ste. Genevieve; two brothers and a sister in law, Amos Werner and Glennon and Wilma Werner, all of Bloomsdale and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Adeline Carron, Agnes Blechle and Marie Burger; two brothers, Clarence Werner and Louie Werner and a grandson, Todd Carron.

A funeral mass for 88-year-old Freda H. Carron was held today, October 31st, 2005 at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Bloomsdale. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Oge officiated.

Memorials may be made to the St. Agnes School, American Lung Association or masses.

Funeral arrangements were by the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
