William H. Fallert

A funeral will be held Monday, March 28th, 2005 for 80-year-old William H. Fallert of Bloomsdale who died Friday, March 24th at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

He was born November 14th, 1924 in Zell, the son of William Fallert and Regina (Meyer) Fallert, who both preceded him in death.

He married Anna Marie "Suzie" Gegg on July 3rd, 1946.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters in law, Wayne and Christine Fallert of Bloomsdale and Michael and Kelly Fallert of Imperial; a brother and sister in law, Joe and Glenda Fallert of Bloomsdale; four sisters and three brothers in law, Gertrude Coleman of Ste. Genevieve, Odile and Alvin "Red" Kohm of Ste. Genevieve, Mildred and Louis Pfaff of Ste. Genevieve and Olivia and Alfred Gielow of Bloomsdale; and five grandchildren, Stacy, Alicia, Rebecca, Madalyn and Sierra.

Two sisters, Wilma Shaw and Viola Jokerst and two brothers, Richard "Fuzz" Fallert and Eugene Fallert, also preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1848 in Bloomsdale, American Legion Post No. 554 in Bloomsdale and the VFW Post No. 2210 in Ste. Genevieve.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday, March 27th at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Bloomsdale. VFW and Legion services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 80-year-old William H. Fallert of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 28th at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Raymond Oge will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
