A funeral will be held Thursday, June 16th, 2005 for 100-year-old Irene G. Fallert of Ste. Genevieve who died Sunday, June 12th at Riverview At The Park.

She was born September 18th, 1904 in River Aux Vases, the daughter of John Baptiste and Rosina (Stoll) Langelier, who both preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Meta Scuzzo of Chesterfield, Rosalie Reynolds of Lehi, UT; a son and daughter in law, Arthur and Jeanette Curran of St. Louis; five stepsons and their spouses, Richard and Mickey Fallert of Alexandria, VA, Herbert and Norma Fallert of Ste. Genevieve, Gerald and Cecilia Fallert of Perryville, Bob and Dorothy Fallert and John and Ruth Fallert, all of River Aux Vases; three stepdaughters and two spouses, Helen Naeger, Dorothy and Edgar Gegg, and Vera and Joseph Suennen, all of Ste. Genevieve; 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: first husband William Curran, second husband Eduard Poehler, and third husband Frank Fallert; a son, Donald Curran; two sisters, Cora Fallert and Estelle Morice; and five brothers, Lambert, Joseph, Wendell, Chris and Vernell Langelier.

She was a charter member of SMTS, a Missouri Real Estate Sales Associate, 25-year board member for Riverview Manor, and an Audubon Estates board member. She was also a member of these organizations: St. Louis Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Business and Professional Women, Ozark Association for the Blind, and the Silver-Haired Legislators.

Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 15th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 100-year-old Irene G. Fallert of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday June 16th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Festus.

Memorials may be made to the Ozark Association for the Blind.
