A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 26th, 2005 for 73-year-old Betty J. Flieg of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, July 24th at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born Monday, March 14th, 1932 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of the late Leonard Schloss, who preceded her in death and Chlora "Sally" (Brown) Schloss, who survives in Ste. Genevieve.

She married Martin J. Flieg on June 24th, 1950.

Survivors also include: two sons and daughters in law, Paul and Barbara Flieg of Ste. Genevieve and Gregory and Susan Flieg of Prairieville, Louisiana; three daughters and sons in law, Suzanne and John Winters, Mary Ellen and Mark DeGenova and Amy and Jeff Basler, all of Ste. Genevieve; 12 grandchildren, Lindsay and Rachel Flieg, Gabe, Nick and Luke Winters, Sara and John Sellers, Daniel and Gina DeGenova, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Jeremy and Joseph Flieg.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. this (Monday, July 25th) afternoon and evening at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 73-year-old Betty J. Flieg will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 26th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. James Hanson will officiate.

Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
