A funeral will be held Saturday, January 22nd, 2005 for 77-year-old Ervin E. Hermann of Weingarten, who died Wednesday, January 19th at his residence.

He was born February 9th, 1928 in Weingarten, the son of Edward Hermann and Emma Bauman, who both preceded him in death.

He married Marcelle Schilli on April 11th, 1953.

Survivors include: three sons and two daughters in law, Tom and Debi Hermann of Paxton, Illinois; Daniel and Connie Hermann of Ste. Genevieve and David Herman of Weingarten; one daughter and son in law, Barb and Robert Herman of Ste. Genevieve; two brothers and sisters in law, Leonard and Linda Hermann of Zell and Leon and Barbara Hermann of Ironton; two sisters, Rosella Joggerst of River aux Vases and Vernetta Donze of Ste. Genevieve; five grandchildren, Carrie Vogt, Tricia Herman, Sara, Adam and Ryan Hermann, three step grandchildren, Dawn, Brandi and Shane; one great grandchild; Trenton Vogt, and three step great grandchildren, Alyssa, Stasha and Audrey.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1848, Weingarten JCs, American Legion Post No. 150, Weingarten Volunteer Fire Department and board member, veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, January 21st at the Basler Funeral Home. The American Legion will gather at 7 p.m. The Knights of Columbus service will be at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 77-year-old Ervin E. Hermann of Weingarten will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 22nd at Our Lady Help of Christians. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Revs. Bishop Robert Hermann and James Hanson will co-officiate.
