Dr. Gene J. "Doc" Carron A funeral will be held Monday, January 17th, 2005 for 79-year-old Dr. Gene J. "Doc" Carron of French Village who died Friday, January 14th at his home. He was born July 5th, 1925 in St. Louis, the son of Alphonse and Mabelle Carron, who both preceded him in death. He married Dorothy S. (Stahl) Carron on August 1st, 1949. Survivors include: three sons and daughters in law, Michael and Cinda Carron of Bonita Springs, FL, Gary and Kay Carron of Fenton, Robert and Kay Carron of Jackson; a daughter, Victoria Denger of St. Louis; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alamretta Wolff and Genevieve Santen. He was a ham radio operator, a past member of a barber shop quartet, former director of the St. Lawrence Church choir, and a Lieutenant (Junior Grade) in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He received his PhD from Washington University in 1963. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Monday, January 17th at the St. Lawrence Church in Lawrenceton. A funeral for 79-year-old Dr. Gene Carron of French Village will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, January 17th at the St. Lawrence Church in Lawrenceton. Burial will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Oge will officiate. |
