Guadulupe Hernandez

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, January 8th, 2005 for 70-year-old Guadulupe Hernandez of Bloomsdale who died Sunday, January 2nd at his residence.

He was born June 19, 1934 in Keller, Texas, the son of Martin R. and Rose (Ramirez) Hernandez, who both preceded him in death.

He married Wilma Jo Basden-Taylor on September 1st, 1956. She survives in Bloomsdale.

Survivors also include: two sons, Martin Hernandez and Joseph Hernandez, both of Bloomsdale; two daughters and sons in law, Valerie and Gale Vogelsang of Festus and Carrie and Kevin Brown of Bloomsdale; two brothers and sisters in law, Sonny and Carol Hernandez and Raymond and Pat Hernandez, all of St. Louis; three sisters and one brother in law, Maria Hernandez, Elizabeth and Thomas Sanders and Juanita Hernandez, all of St. Louis; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 1848 in Bloomsdale, Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly and S.O.A.R.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial mass for 70-year-old Guadulupe Hernandez of Bloomsdale will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 8th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. The Rev. Raymond Oge and Deacon Jim Basler will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the St. Agnes School Building Fund.

The Basler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
