Stephen A. Bauman A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 5th, 2005 for 89-year-old Stephen A. Bauman of Ste. Genevieve who died Sunday, January 2nd at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was born December 8th, 1915 in Ozora, the son of Andrew and Mary (Palmer) Bauman, who both preceded him in death. He married Erma T. Grass on June 15th, 1946. She preceded her in death. Survivors include: two sons and daughters in law, Robert S. and Patty Bauman of Auxvasse and Dennis T. and Dottye Bauman of Weingarten; two daughters and sons in law, Joyce and Charles Linderer of Ste. Genevieve and Linda M. and Carl Hurst of Ozora; a sister, Mary Roth of Ste. Genevieve; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, a great grandchild, six brothers, George, John, Frank, Ben, Anthony, and William Bauman; and a sister, Lena Bauman. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 150, VFW Post No. 2210, Western Catholic Union and AFL CIO Local No. 829. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 4th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. VFW and American Legion will gather at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral for 89-year-old Stephen A. Bauman will be held Wednesday, January 5th at the Sacred Heart Church in Ozora. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Fund. |
