A funeral will be held Friday, December 16^th, 2005 for 95-year-old Lavada E. Bauer of Ste. Genevieve, who died today (Tuesday, December 13^th, 2005) at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 10^th, 1910 in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Huck) Baumgarter. They preceded her in death.

She married Adolph Bauer January 20^th, 1927. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons and a daughter in law, Dennis "Eugene" and Mary Jane Bauer of River Aux Vases, Robert Bauer, Carl Bauer, both of Ste. Genevieve; a brother, Charles Baumgartner; a sister, Norma Jean Bay of Farmington; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, William Bauer; three brothers, Martin, Joe and Jules Baumgartner; two sisters, Lilly Mae Bauer and Esther Panchot.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 15^th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 95-year-old Lavada E. Bauer of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 16^th, 2005 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Rev Daniel Mosely will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Valle Spring Cemetery.
