Joan R. Eydmann

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 23rd, 2005 for 55-year-old Joan R. Eydmann of Ste. Genevieve, who died Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

She was born November 24th, 1949 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Paul A. Reitz and Dorothy "Dottie" G. (Miller) Reitz, who survives in Ste. Genevieve.

She married Phillip S. Eydmann on February 14th, 1981. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.

Survivors also include: a son, Jeffrey Eydmann of Ste. Genevieve.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ste. Genevieve, where she served as Clerk of the Session and was a member of the Bell Choir.

She was employed by Gegg Excavating and Materials.

She was chairperson of the Ste. Genevieve Community Access Televison (Channels 7 and 98) Board, member of the Ste. Genevieve County Recycling Board, past member of the Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen (1993-2001), past member of the Ste. Genevieve Housing Authority Board, Ste. Genevieve Planning and Zoning Commission, Ste. Genevieve Landmarks Commission, Joint Levee Commission, Fund for Progress and she served on the Committee for the Development of Design Guidelines for the Ste. Genevieve National Historic Landmark District.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, August 22nd, 2005 at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 55-year-old Joan R. Eydmann of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 23rd at the First Presbyterian Church in Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Tisha Mundy will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
