A funeral will be held Wednesday, April 20th, 2005 for 83-year-old Rose A. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve, who died today, Monday, April 18th, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 3rd, 1922 in River aux Vases, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Joggerst) Basler, who both preceded her in death.

She married Edgar Joseph Gegg on February 18th, 1946. He survives.

Also surviving are: four children, Judy (Gegg) Brown of Bradenton, Florida, Deborah S. Gegg of Pacific, Thomas J and his wife Pamela Gegg of Arlington, Texas and Ronald E. and his wife Jeanetta Gegg of Puxico; eight grandchildren, Rachel, Russell, Susan, Tessa, Ryan, Jennifer, Ronnie and Amy Rose; seven great grandchildren, Makayla, Ariel, Noah, Zoe, Jakob, Nick and Amber; one sister, Estella and her husband Glennon Grass of Ste. Genevieve; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.

A funeral for 83-year-old Rose A. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20th at the Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. Frank Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
