A funeral was held today, Monday, September 13th, 2004 for 72-year-old Willa M. Doza of St. Mary, who died Friday, September 10th at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

She was born January 30, 1932 in Kaskaskia, Illinois, the daughter of William J. and Lorene (Buatte) Kriete, who both preceded her in death.

She married Robert Doza on November 22nd, 1952.

Survivors include: a son, Guy Doza, of St. Louis; two daughters and sons in law, Pamela and Donald Harter of Ste. Genevieve and Laurie and Rochard "Joe" Reask of St. Mary; two brothers and sisters in law, William and Jackie Kriete of Maryland Heights and Richard and Linda Kriete of Walsh, Illinois; two sisters and one brother in law, Wanda and Robert Cissell of Crystal City and Peggy Kriete of St. Mary; and five grandchildren, Jamie and Sarah Harter and Amanda, Megan and Lauren Oswald.

A son, Bobby Doza and a sister, Marlene Huck, also preceded her in death.

A funeral for 72-year-old Willa M. Doza of St. Mary was held at 11 a.m. today, Monday, September 13th at the Immaculate Conception Church in Kaskaskia. Burial was in the Kaskaskia Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Kasznel officiated.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
