Clyde S. Jackson A funeral will be held Thursday, September 30th, 2004 for 97-year-old Clyde S. Jackson of Plattin, who died Saturday, September 25th at his residence. He was born August 12th, 1907 in Plattin, the son of Thomas Stephen and Josephine Emily (Billie) Jackson who both preceded him in death. He married Lynne McCoy. She preceded him in death. Survivors include: three daughters and two sons in law, Lynee E. Jackson of Plattin; Alicia R. and Raymond J. Kassen of Plattin; and Glenda S. and David L. Sawyer of Mountain Home, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, David C. Kemp of Plattin; Laura L. and James Henderson of Plattin; Ronald W. and Valerie Kassen of Kansas City; Mark S. and Sherry Kassen of Plattin; and Paula J. and Kevin Fraser of Plattin; and six great grandchildren, Emily L, Samuel J. and Jackson D. Henderson; Grace V. Fraser and Garrett Kassen. He was the current long-time president of the Jefferson County Coon Hunters, life member of the State Coon Hunters of Missouri, Yellow Dog Hunting Club, Jefferson County chairman of ASCS, past long-time president of the Ste. Genevieve County Livestock Producers. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Septmber 29th and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, September 30th at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus and 1-2 p.m. Thursday, September 30th at the Charter Baptist Church in De Soto. A funeral for 97-year-old Clyde S. Jackson of Plattin will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 30th at the Charter Baptists Church in De Soto. Burial will be in the Charter Memorial Gardens in De Soto. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. |
