A funeral will be held Thursday, October 27th, 2004 for 51-year-old Jerry Decker of Bloomsdale who died Friday, October 22nd in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

He was born December 25th, 1952 in St. Louis, the son of Alfred Harvey Decker and Erma Elizabeth (Bayer) Decker, who both preceded him in death.

He married Marcia Linderer. She survives in Bloomsdale.

Survivors also include: a daughter, Mackenzie Decker of Bloomsdale; a son, Zachary Decker of Bloomsdale; and two brothers, Parker Decker of Festus and Nick Decker of St. Louis.

Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, October 27th at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.

A funeral for 51-year-old Jerry Decker of Bloomsdale will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 28th at the Church of Our Lady in Festus. The Rev. Raymond Oge, pastor of St. Agnes Church, Bloomsdale, will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
