Kenneth N. Greear

A funeral service was held today, Monday, November 29th, 2004, for 84-year-old Kenneth N. Greear of Ste. Genevieve, who passed away Thursday, November 25th, 2004 at the Missouri veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born January 30th, 1920, in Groten, South Dakota to Lon Pierce and Signa Greear. They preceded him in death.

He married Fern Langeneckert. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.

He is also survived by his children: Jira and Alice Greear of Nashville, Tennessee, Jerry Greear of St. Louis, Tim and Carolyn Kuelker of Florissant, and Keith and Rosalie Kuelker of St. Charles. He is further survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, neices, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Madden, son in law Jerry Madden, and three brothers, Donald, Emmet, and Carl.

He was a member of the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII, and was a long time member of VFW post 2210 and American Legion post 150.

A funeral service for 84-year-old Kenneth N. Greear of Ste. Genevieve was held today, Monday, November 29th, 2004, at the Wood Family Funeral Home. The Reverend Barry Winder will officiate. Interment followed in the Crestlawn Cemetery.
