Arnold P. Basler

A funeral will be held Saturday, November 13th, 2004 for 81-year-old Arnold P. Basler of Ste. Genevieve who died Thursday, November 11th at the Presbyterian Manor in Farmington.

He was born July 31, 1923 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Phillip E. Basler and Amanda (Rottler) Basler, who both preceded him in death.

He married Betty A. Kist on October 19th, 1957.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons in law, Linda and Keith Huck of Farmington and Lisa and Kevin Schneider of Huntsville, Alabama; a sister and brother in law, Arlene and Henry Hoog of Zell and three grandchildren: Claire, Mallory and Karl.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 150, Holy Name Society and American Society of Safety Engineers.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. this (Friday, November 12th) afternoon and evening at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. An American Legion service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 81-year-old Arnold P. Basler of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13th at the Saints Phillip and James Church in River aux Vases. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Reilly will officiate.
