Ella M. Cassoutt A funeral will be held Monday, May 10th, 2004 for 95-year-old Ella M. Cassoutt of Ste. Genevieve who died Thursday, May 6th at her home. She was born January 1st, 1909 in Perry County, the daughter of Thomas L. and Delcenia (Moore) Wilkinson, who both preceded her in death. She married Joseph "Barney" B. Cassoutt on September 9th, 1932. He preceded her in death. Survivors include: four daughters and four sons in law, Lily Mae and Alvin Donze of Ste. Genevieve, Barbara Ann and Patrick Billington of St. Mary, Marilyn Sue and Joseph Schoeppel of Beach Grove, Indiana and Carolyn Lou and Julius Llorente of Marietta, Georgia; two brothers, Thomas L. Wilkinson of Leadwood and John Wilkinson of Belfonte Neighbors; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Four sisters, Elizabeth Voudrie, Emma Hanks, Berdie Turner and Mary Presswood, also preceded her in death. She was an active volunteer at the Immaculate Conception Church at Kaskaskia. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. A funeral for 95-year-old Ella M. Cassoutt of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Douglas Boyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Kaskaskia Cemetery, Kaskaskia, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. |
