A funeral will be held Monday, March 1st, 2004 for 77-year-old Arvel J. "Bud" Jenkins who died Saturday, February 28th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 8th, 1926 in Goreville, Illinois to the late Thomas and Carrie Della (Perry) Jenkins.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta (LaRose) Jenkins of Ste. Genevieve. Other survivors include three daughters: Brenda Jenkins of Pevely, Yvonne Clifton of Perryville, and Tammie Zahner of Ste. Genevieve.

Three grandchildren, two sisters, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive.

Mr. Jenkins was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Ste. Genevieve, a member of American Legion Post 150, and 3rd degree Mason of the Saline Lodge 226 A.F. & A.M.

Funeral services for 77-year-old Arvel J. "Bud" Jenkins will be held Monday, March 1st, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Ste. Genevieve. The Reverend Barry Winders will officiate. Interment in the Crestlawn Cemetery.

The family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
