Richard F. ‘Fuzz" Fallert

A funeral was held this morning, Monday, June 7th, 2004 for 75-year-old Richard F. "Fuzz" Fallert of Bloomsdale who died Friday, June 4th at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

He was born October 4th, 1928 in Bloomsdale, the son of William and Regina (Meyer) Fallert who both preceded him in death.

He married Martha Lou LaMure on June 11th, 1949. She survives.

Survivors also include: a daughter and son in law, Brenda and Charlie Erwin of Festus; two brothers and sisters in law, William and Susie Fallert and Joseph and Glenda Fallert, all of Bloomsdale; four sisters and three brothers in law, Gertrude Coleman, Odile and Alvin "Red" Kohm and Mildred and Louis Pfaff, all of Ste. Genevieve and Olivia and Alfred Gielow of Bloomsdale; and two grandchildren and their spouses, Ben and Beth Erwin and Rachel and Justin Evans.

A son, Rick Fallert; two sisters, Wilma Shaw and Viola Jokerst and a brother, Eugene Fallert, also preceded him in death.

He was a member of Ste. Genevieve Elks Lodge No. 2674 in Ste. Genevieve and Knights of Columbus No. 1848 in Bloomsdale. He was an associate member of American Legion Post No. 554, CMA and was retired from PPG in Crystal City.

A funeral for 75-year-old Richard F. "Fuzz" Fallert of Bloomsdale was held this morning, Monday, June 7th at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale. Burial was in the St. Agnes Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Oge will officiate.

Memorials may be made to masses or to charity of choice.

The Basler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
