A funeral will be held Thursday, June 10th, 2004 for 90-year-old Johanna T. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve, who died Monday, June 7th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 9th, 1914 in Zell, the daughter of John and Frances (Bauman) Naeger, who both preceded her in death.

She married Harry Gegg Sr. on September 23rd, 1940. He survives.

Survivors also include: one son and daughter in law, Harry Jr. and Susan Marie Gegg of Ste. Genevieve; three daughters and sons in law, JoAnn and Robert Wasylenko of Naples, Florida; Mary Lou and Tom Simonds of Livermore, California; and Virginia and Alef Sharkowi of Bryan, Texas; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Three sisters, Philomene Sr. Jane Francis, Josephine Sr. M. Ragis and Rose Roth; four brothers, Albert, Robert, Raymond and Richard Naeger and three other siblings who died in infancy also preceded her in death.

She was the owner and manager of the Gegg Mobile Home Park, and was a member of the Church of Ste. Genevieve, the church choir, Miraculous Medal and the Ste. Genevieve County Extension.

She was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.

She was an active volunteer in the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Fidelity of Mary,

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 9th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 90-year-old Johanna T. Gegg of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.
