Ozzie F. Burle

A funeral will be held Friday, July 16th, 2004 for 76-year-old Ozzie F. Burle of Ste. Genevieve who died today (Wednesday, July 14th, 2004) at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

He was born August 13th, 1927 in Ste. Genevieve, the son of Leo and Caroline (Hoog) Burle, who both preceded him in death.

He married Rita M. (Kranzle) Burle October 1st, 1949. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons and daughters in law, Paul and Paula Burle of St. Peters, Tom and Cindy Burle, and Ron and Patty Burle, all of Ste. Genevieve; three brothers, Ervin, Virgil and Ernest Weiler, all of Ste. Genevieve; and one sister, Anna Mae Arnold of Ste. Genevieve; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a bother, LeRoy Burle.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Japan, and a retired manager of Mississippi Farms. He was a member of Knights Of Columbus Council 1037, VFW post 2210, and American Legion post 150.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 15th, at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve, with Knights Of Columbus rosary at 6:30, and VFW/Americal Legion services at 7 p.m.

A funeral for 76-year-old Ozzie F. Burle of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 16th, 2004 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Reverend Daniel Mosley will officiate. Burial will be in the Valle Springs cemetery.
