Otis Fields, Jr. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004 for 70-year-old Otis Fields, Jr. of Ste. Genevieve who died Monday, Jan. 12 at Ste. Genevieve County memorial Hospital. He was born on Oct. 12, 1933 in Alton, Ill., the son of Violet (Sullivan) Fields of Herrin, Ill., and the late Otis Fields. He was married to Norma (Spiller) Fields on June 21, 1952. She survives in Ste. Genevieve. One son, two daughters, and sons-in-law survive: Stanley Fields and special friend Carole Moser of Desoto; Donna and Ronald Woods of St. Louis; and Patty and Michael Arnold of Ste. Genevieve. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A brother, Robert Fields, preceded him in death. He was a deacon in the Second Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 14 from 4:00-7:30 p.m. at Basler Funeral Home. Funeral service for Otis Fields Jr. will be held Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Basler Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Frazine will officiate. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville, Ill. On Thursday, Jan. 15th at 11:00 a.m. Memorials can be made to charity of choice. |
