Edna J. Armbruster

A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 13th, 2004 for 95-year-old Edna J. Armbruster of Ste. Genevieve who died Friday, January 9th at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 29th, 1908 in Cascade, the daughter of J. N. and Ada (Boyles) Myers, who both preceded her in death.

She married Anton H. Armbruster on November 10th, 1930. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters and a son in law, Rose and William Blamer of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and Sharon A. Stokely of Ste. Genevieve; four brothers and sisters in law, Carl and Jean Myers of St. Louis, Charles and Elaine Myers of Perryville, Raymond and Marie Myers of Perryville, the Rev. Wayne and Jerry Myers of Merritt Island, Florida; five sisters, Artie Myers of Perryville, Ruth Myers of Perryville, Veda Scott of Perryville, Melba Stroup of Park Hills and Wanda Bollinger of Ste. Genevieve; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Two daughters, Juanita and Linda Leah Armbruster; a son, Robert Armbruster; a great grandchild; a sister, Pauline Hoehn; and two brothers, Clark and Edward Myers, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, January 12th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 95-year-old Edna J. Armbruster of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 13th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Hager officiated.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
